During a one-week intensive field course across Florida, I presented and led discussion with my partner about snail kite plasticity and invasive snails and participated in six other lectures.

Highlights:
- Finally seeing a snail kite after researching them to prepare our lecture
- Van-tripping through Gainesville, Cape Coral, the Everglades, Key Largo, Miami, and more in between
- Seeing around 134 species of birds
- Camping and spending every day outside
- Learning about manatees, burrowing owls, and legacy pollution from my peers' lectures
