I helped to maintain, relabel, and preserve the extensive invertebrate zoology collections of the National Museum of Natural History.

Highlights:

Changing gaskets of hundreds of jars containing preserved animals
Seeing thousands of invertebrate species and reading their latin names
Unpacking specimens recently collected from a cruise in the Gulf of Mexico (like opening presents!)
Special tour opportunities such as the NMNH's whale bone collections
